10 Windell Self-Catering Accommodation offers four (4) luxury self-catering rooms for corporate and leisure visitors travelling as individuals or small groups. Your host Marinda Schafer welcomes you to 10 Windell Self Catering Accommodation. We are situated in a peaceful area, with easy access to all major routes. We are 600 m away from the central CBD of Durbanville and about a 30-minute drive from Cape Town International Airport. Our proximity to the beautiful wine farms of Durbanville, the numerous academic institutions in Durbanville, world-class medical facilities and attractions like Rust & Vrede Art Gallery, the brand new Village Square Centre, Die Boer theatre restaurant and Durbanville Golf Course make us unique. Our property has a beautiful garden with trees that attract a wide variety of birdlife. All our rooms have private garden entrances with free safe and secure parking on the premises.
We can cater for up to eleven (11) people.
All the rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV; with an “Open View” decoder and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. There is a seating area on the patio in front of the rooms and under a tented area with a braai facility.
We bought the guesthouse as a going concern in 2011. Over the years we have done multiple renovations and upgrades. Five years ago we introduced it as self-catering accommodation. We have gained experience in welcoming guests from countries like Egypt, Germany, the UK, the USA, Canada, etc. We also have local leisure travellers, patients visiting the many medical care facilities in Durbanville as well as lecturers and students who attend training and studies in Durbanville staying with us over the years.
